What a beautiful, powerful, majestic bird the Bald Eagle is! They are truly an amazing animal and I am blessed that I got to encounter two of them at the Vermont Institute of Natural Sciences (VINS). I can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of pride and freedom when looking at these birds. I am honored to have them as our national symbol and very grateful that we have organizations like VINS who are dedicated to the rehabilitation, education and conservation of not just Bald Eagles but many other avian and reptile species.

I am a nerd and an artist living in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. I grew up in beautiful New England but traded the white snow for the white sands about 10 years ago. I have always had a passion for photographic art and got my first professional camera just over 4 years ago.
